These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your use of Ferment, an audio plugin developed by Ciderka Labs ("we", "us"). The current version is in beta and available for purchase. By downloading or using the Software, you agree to these Terms.
2. Beta Status & License
Ferment is in active development. The current version is available for purchase as a beta release. To purchase a license or for questions about the beta, contact us at — we appreciate any feedback about your experience, bugs or feature requests.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Software for personal and commercial music production purposes, subject to these Terms. Installation and operation of the Software is at the user's own risk, and we bear no responsibility for any damages caused by use of the Software.
3. No Warranty — Use at Your Own Risk
The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. This is beta software under active development. It may contain bugs, cause unexpected behavior, or produce unintended audio output.
You use the Software entirely at your own risk. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for any particular purpose. We strongly recommend saving your work frequently and not relying on the Software for critical live performances without thorough testing.
4. Limitation of Liability
In no event shall Ciderka Labs be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the Software, including but not limited to damage to equipment, hearing, audio files, or any other loss, regardless of the cause of action or theory of liability.
5. Restrictions

- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
- Redistribute, resell, or sublicense the Software
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices or labels
- Use the Software in any way that violates applicable law
6. Intellectual Property
The Software and all associated materials remain the exclusive property of Ciderka Labs. Nothing in these Terms transfers ownership of any intellectual property to you.
7. Audio Output
You retain full rights to any audio content you create using the Software. We claim no ownership over your creative output.
8. Feedback & Testing
We welcome and encourage feedback during the beta period. By providing feedback, bug reports, or feature suggestions, you grant us the right to use this information to improve the Software without any obligation or compensation.
9. Updates & Changes
We may update the Software and these Terms at any time. Beta versions may change significantly between releases. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10. Termination
The beta period may end at any time. We may terminate your license if you breach these Terms. Upon termination, you must delete all copies of the Software.
